This is the second email that i have sent to you, and i hope that you post this one because we have a
legitimate claim. I play for Granby and was at the game. Our captain this year has a tape of the game
and his tape actually shows the ball when the controversial goal occurred, not just before or just
after. Even if the ball did not go in the goal (but if did) i think that is quite babyish to complain so
vehemently to make a website challenging a judgment call. We were the victims of a highly questionable
call in this year's championship (yes, we did win it again) that cost us the outright title. We took the
call like men and accepted the co-championship. Anyway, we completely dominated the game. We outshot
your team by at least twice as much, as held the ball for the majority of the contest. You are lucky that
the score was the only thing that mattered because if it wasn't we would have finished the game off in the
first half. These two championships are not flukes. Granby soccer is an established program in which we
have won 10 state championships of the years.
Yes, that is 10. I would appreciate it if you would post this in order to show a contrasting view on your
website.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Your 2000 and 2001 Class S State Champions and 2001
NCCC Champions, not to mention your 2001 Class S
Championship MVP and 2001 Class S All-Stater
